A product is never really finished. After go-live we collect user feedback and analytics data and improve the product in areas with the greatest impact.
The growth phase is usually the time when we move from a venture run primarily by us, to one that has its own team with its own culture and identity. We start with the key resources to insource the most critical activities first. Once the handover is completed, we’ll fade out step by step.
Scaling also means becoming more efficient in operations. Therefore we optimize and automate the business model where possible and feasible. This can include marketing-automation, streamlining administrative processes, but also ensuring automated handovers between tools and people by investing in required APIs.
After product market fit is found, it’s time to scale the venture. We’ll help in developing a growth strategy and executing it while keeping the overall vision and goal in mind. We also act as a multiplier and help to scale within our network.
Once a working business model is found and scaling begins, V_labs will begin a handover and fade-out process. If required we can stay on board in some specific functions or act as a sparring partner or as part of a steering board. Of course we can also keep providing general venture services such as our legal sandbox.
